Trains and viaducts have always belonged together, creating some of the most striking scenes along the railway. Our Trains & Viaducts Calendar 2027 features twelve photographs of trains on and around viaducts across different European countries.

The calendar was created in collaboration with Tobias Watzl, a railway enthusiast and passionate photographer. His images bring together railways, landscapes and architecture, capturing trains from ever-changing perspectives.

But there is more to each photograph than the image itself. Alongside every photo, you'll find an abstract map of the train's actual route, its origin and destination, as well as the distance and journey time. The data is, of course, provided by the viaduct.world app – connecting photography with the real journeys behind the images.
